Prof. Robin is an outspoken supporter of the BDS movement and a vocal critic of America. He regularly uses the blog on his website to justify support for BDS and animosity towards Israel. Most recently he tried to draw a comparison between President Trump’s ban on refugees, to Israel, saying those who support boycotting conferences held in the US due to the travel ban should see no difference in boycotting the State of Israel.[1] His perspective on BDS activities have acknowledged the extent to which anti-Semitism is manifested therein, saying, “you say you’re a left-wing critic of Israel, so I presume you’ve supported some actions against the state. Well, guess what: I bet among those who also support those actions there are people who want the Jews to disappear.”[2]

Regarding the Jews having a state, Prof. Robin said “it fucks Jews up to have one,” and that the “armed nationalism of it corrupts the religion and the culture.” He continued to say that, “no child of mine would ever step foot in the State of Israel.”[3]
